My guess is, that fuel pump went or was on it’s way out the door, and it’s way easier to sell a running car than a non-running one. Add in the glow plugs (not really up on diesels, but maybe you do that at the same time as a pump normally, or maybe after 184k miles, they were on their last legs as well?), the cost of…

That was my thought, though that said, it is a bit too high for the condition it is in. I actually sent a pic of this car (found through the internet) to someone a while back when we were discussing cars that were never convertibles,but that didn’t look bad as one; I didn’t expect it to come up for sale after that!

I always liked these TBH. I know nothing about them, and probably would never get one, but from a style perspective, I liked them better than the egg-shaped Eclipses that preceded them (in fact, I refer to those as “EggClipses”).
