I guess the aliens just have a Technics SL-1700 just sitting around, waiting for this moment, right?

Exactly, though I can do you one better:

I love both these and the previous coupe, but it’s still a 35 year old car with 230K on the clock, a broken sunoof mechanism, non-working HVAC blower and a heater core (ugh) that needs fixed. It’s in great shape otherwise, but given those things, I’m not sure I’d go $10 grand on it.

Sooo...Tony, if said kids happen to see this decal on the street, or at the mall ,or, I dunno, in public anywhere, are they not looking it up, or is it only when they see it at the parking lot in school they suddenly gain an interest?

Florida is largely considered the worst state in the union for trans people

I replaced one in my 94 Bronco, as it was going, and I had to keep rolling under the truck to smack it with a hammer to start a few times. That said, I have an 08 Escape with 161k miles on it that’s still on its original starter.

This list is nothing without a classic Droid!

Wasn’t that literally their job to find out such possibilities? Especially given that this had occurred before (but since it didn’t cause the destruction of the shuttle), they didn’t take it seriously?

My attitude is, if these companies didn’t fold during the pandemic, and their workers were able to WFH, then pretend like it’s still the pandemic and let them work from home, cause clearly there wasn’t an issue when they had to, so why make an issue now?

I agree, though in our case, the company owned the building, so whether or not anyone was there (and there was always someone there 24 hours a day) didn’t factor into them wanting some people to come back in.

I wondered about that too. Like, I get wanting to avoid that kind of plane out of a sense of self-preservation, but are people really gonna get to the airport, see that the plane they’re about to take is a Max, and say “nope!” and sit in the airport and wait for the next plane...which may be another Max?

Sounds like that ‘council’ is full of schitt...you could say they Poopenaut as well!

DuPont Registry has a few non-VT roadsters at $799,000 currently, so I’m guessing the norm for these will be a million in a short time.

I saw that too, like “buys $100k car...bitches about replacing tires on $100k car”.
