I wanted one of these SO BAD when I bought my 86, then 94 Broncos. But they were expensive back then, and hard to find either way. I low-key still kinda want one, but it would have to be 4WD for this price, even though this is pretty clean. Reluctant ND.

I’m not sure who or what Tesla uses for their mapping, but considering Waze/Google Maps already incorporates this feature, and per this article,The Ctrl-Bar connects to Tesla EVs by using a phone as a middleman, which means your phone must be connected through Wi-Fi or a cellular connection. That seems odd, but

That is the thing I will never understand with them; people are paying extra money for (what is supposed to be) a premium product...then they skimp on the ‘premium’ part when it comes to something vital like that. I’d expect it on an economy-of-scale base Hyundai, but when the point of purchasing the more expensive

Well, that and the whole “engine starved of oil, needs complete replacement” thing as of late, and yeah, they knocked themselves back to that reputation, which is a shame cause they have been killing it in the styling department so far.

Last weekend, I bought four 79-inch bookcases from Ikea (technically, they were 93 inches with the extensions) and four 8 foot shelves from Lowe’s.

Volvo’s new ad campaign: “Polestar: ribbed, for her driving pleasure”.

That’s where my head was at; if you suffer damage, what is it going to cost to fix it, and will it look OK afterwards?

Back when I used to go to the dealer, they started coming out when you’d bring your car in, and take pics with an iPad of all sides and the interior while you were there.

OTOH, since it’s a restomod as it sits and currently utilizing a lot of non-stock parts, you have carte blanche to put whatever period-adjacent gauges, seats, etc. in it and enjoy it. I do think it has potential (and TBH, I’d never seen one before today, at least not a convertible one), just think they may want to

Which you can add to basically any vehicle aftermarket for a few hundred dollars, instead of getting into a lease payment or new car payment; I’m probably going to do this with a 2008 car I have this summer, as I rented a car with Android Auto and really liked it.

Either way, he doesn’t realize it’s so contradictory to his position, that it’s laughable.

Yeah, he apparently was; from the latest AP article:

Re:the curtains, one thing I would add is to select blackout curtains if available in the style you want (I bought a set at Ollie’s for around $24); that way, you not only get whatever color it is you’re looking for in that room, but you have the benefit of them keeping the room dark when you want to sleep in, as well

For a Cadillac, they remind me way too much of a Civic, especially around the rear window treatment area:

Um...you didn’t keep that firearm out of the reach of that child, so exactly how “responsible” were you again?

(When you order the extra cheese, but wind up with a two piece...)

If you’ve got the money to buy one of these currently (especially at post-pandemic, dealer mark up prices), that lil $2,500 is meaningless, especially given what the alternatives are in this case.

That Testarossa is EVERYTHING, especially in that color!

Here ya go!

Every time I saw that name, it reminded me of the Chanel Perfume ad:
