This would have made an...interesting NP or ND submission.

I’m picturing a boat up on bricks lol
I’m trying to figure out how this passed the regulators. They insisted that new cars have rear cameras, cause omg visibility...then this comes along and completely eliminates any visibility.
I thought I had heard of all of the fetishes (thanks PornHub!), but this one escaped me, alas.
What even is that for? It doesn’t exactly incentivize people to buy an EV, which is the direction I thought we were going in.
I was thinking about this in how it pertains to my own personal situation (if this were enacted in PA). I work from home, so I do minimal driving during the week, mostly to the gym or grocery store or a bar. -But-, I do like to take an out of town trip here and there, as I am adjacent to Ohio, Canada, DC, Maryland and…
I’m a Ford guy, and TBH, I respect these. Looks good, and while a manual would have been perfect, can it be that difficult to swap one in if that’s what you truly want? I’ll give it a NP.
Exactly.
Well, now it is!
My first manual was a 1975 Triumph TR-7; I had no idea (well, a little idea) about how to drive it, and the seller had a bunch of parts that came with the car. So I told him I would put the parts in my truck and he could folow me home in the car, then I would ride him back.
“I mean, they’re gonna die eventually; this just speeds up the process!”
Not only that, but has he talked to his kids and found out if they’re even interested? I know he wants them to learn it, but I was surprised to learn that a lot of younger people in this generation eschew cars, opting for public transportation or car-share programs like Car 2 Go.
Yeah, I read this:
...and now I have to dig out and plug in my old NES and confirm this. BRB!
...and get all hot and bothered over it, to boot!
By “cheap”, the lowest priced regular 308GTB I could find was $70k (and they apparently sell for up to $129k if not more), so while I get that he probably means “cheap relative to other Ferraris”, $70k would not register as cheap to me.
It’s a Wal-Mart. In Utah.
It’s the same reason that a bunch of broke-ass people (for the most part, given how much ‘they’ complain about the economy) gave money to an “alleged” billionaire ex-President.
