In some cars, hitting an object and/or setting off the airbags triggers the fuel inertia cutoff switch, which as the name suggests, stops the fuel flowing to the engine, shutting it off. You have to manually reset it to get it going again...something the average person has no clue about, and even if they did, I doubt…
