Happened to me Feb. of last year. We were trying to land at Palm Springs airport, and there was a high wind advisory in effect. Figured we’d made it all this way, maybe have a rough landing and that’s it. Nope-we bounced all over the place trying to land, and finally the pilot pulled way up, even steeper it seemed…

I can’t believe, in 2022, that people are actually paying for a nav subscription service; I got a chance to try out Android Auto in a rental this year, and now I want to upgrade my old nav head unit with it-worked perfectly and everything is current.

That’s about the only thing you can do on that airline they don’t charge for!

I always (if possible) sit in the last row for a variety of reasons, one of which is that 99.9% of the time, there is overhead bin space. I couldn’t imagine putting my bag in the front of the plane, because if I’m in the last row, and I look up, and someone is walking off the plane with my bag, what I am I gonna do…

...and holding up the rest of the plane while they search bin to bin, which basically enables what Elizabeth was trying to avoid.
