Utterly unmatched across every other single hour I've ever spent watching scripted television. In many ways: I've never seen dramatic television prior to this episode.

They're hitched. 100% confident. This show has made a small industry of dumping consequence on Sarah - the latest being her driving her only daughter to an elopement solution bc she continues to stagnate in maturity.

Spot on. The cryptic comment, the enormously-revealing look, and the categorical lack of anything Ryan-Amber in next week's preview (which makes no sense as a would-be impending elopement/wedding is not something that takes a week off) says it all - the final point being important to preserve the surprise.

I was -this- close to falling out of this show's orbit at the end of Kristina's debate prep. Both my wife and I exchanged concerned glances, she paused the playback, we took deep breaths, and traded comments of confidence that that scene had to be this show's nadir.
