I’m going NP on this. A couple years ago it would have been a $2500 car but now with anything that can move under it’s own power and pass an inspection going for at least 3k, this is a decent price for something that’s a rareish kind-of, sort-of, collector car(ish?) that’s a driver.

I have never wanted any car more in my life! That thing is so ridiculous it’s fantastic! The color keyed turbines with white letter tires are my new favorite thing.

As the owner of a 99 Miata that’s equipped almost identically to this (minus the 6 speed, special blue bits and, thankfully, the hideous chrome wheels) I’m probably biased but this is an easy NP. 49k is barely broken in for a Miata and this one looks like a well cared for garage queen. Base model NBs in this condition

Why does it have a Donut Media rear license plate and should that make me nervous?

What kind of motorcycle tire can hold up 1300 pounds at 207mph?

Oh the ratty old fleet that Uhaul used to have. I remember getting a late 1970s vintage F350 with a 4 speed back in the late 90's. I was in college and was picking up a free couch form somewhere. There was absolutely no way this shi*box ever should have been still on the road. And yes, the 4 speed was terrible. The

I had one of these back in the day. It was a company truck, a 1996 (basically the same) 3500 base model 4x2 regular cab with virtually no options, didn’t even have AC. It was a solid if uninspiring work truck. For the day it had plenty of power and drove well enough, at least for a one-ton.

Is that little cone chimney the air intake on the roof? Looks like a corresponding black hose running down the passenger side B pillar in one photo. That’s quite the factor snorkel setup. I’m guessing thats a nod towards rural roads (read: no bridges) in developing countries?

There aren’t enough stars in the galaxy for this post.

It all ends it tears and lawyers.

“World’s Most Tepid Car”

I have a soft spot for old Jags (arguably right between my ears) but even without that, this is an easy NP for a summer droptop that seems fully drivable. Sure it needs work but what car in this price range doesn’t? I certainly wouldn’t want to rely on it, or any 20 yo Jag, for my daily but for a weekend cruisers?

I’ve wanted one of these cars since I first saw one in a Car & Driver article when I was in High School in the late 20th century (that phrase kills me). It was a mismatched, racing green and yellow base model (don’t recall what it was designated back then). I remember they called out the mismatched colors because the

I had a 1994 Trooper (regular 4 door) back in college. It was a surprisingly capable tuck offroad even with generic all-terrain tires, a decent highway cruiser and was huge inside (it really was just a box on wheels) but the reliability was absolutely horrendous. I don’t think I ever went more than two weeks without

This just strikes me as a car whose demographic is fading away. I just can’t envision anyone under 75 wanting to be seen in something like this. Every time I see a Neo-Classic (admittedly rare now) all I can’ picture is a 80 year old retired salesman wearing white slacks going to the golf course.

I had one of these probably about 2000 or so. It was a 1998 off lease or program car with 18k on the clock. I think I grabbed it for like $12k or so. It was my firstreal car” (read: not total shitbox)when I graduated college and could actually afford something decent.

Personally, I wouldn’t spend that much money on something with paper thin doors and a 0-60 time probably in the neighborhood of 12 seconds (or more). But with the current upward trends of these old compact trucks and this one’s miles and condition, I’d give this an easy NP. You could buy this today, post it on BaT

Great, now I have to go get lost down the rabbit hole of looking up what a Pulse Rocket is. If anyone needs me, I’ll be somewhere over on Wiki for the next 3 hours.

Oh... my... God... yes.
