The MR-2, the original tiny rear-engine version, (not the 2000s droptop). Don’t forget the trick on-demand supercharged version and the T-Tops.

For the record, there is absolutely no way that Lincoln is getting 19mpg as the Facebook ad claims.
The Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera. Absolutely nothing remarkable, 4 wheels and seats with just enough power to get itself around. Not super reliable but not horribly unreliable either. Not stylish but not offensive. Vanilla with a gas pedal.
I bet this thing would be a blast to hoon around the neighborhood in but my (almost) 50 year old backside hurts just looking at that seat.
Imagine knocking around inside one of these things during a major North Sea storm? I hope all the metal edges were padded.
Dealers respond with and equally polite “F—- you” and add $20k.
Has anyone seen actual specs on this thing anywhere? I looked through a few articles but didn’t see any. Probably all the articles were written off the same press release. I assume it’s a 4x4 (?) but was wondering about battery capacity, horsepower, etc.
Of course it has a “Lets go Brandon” sticker on it.
5 year sentence. So he’ll be out in... what? 2 or 3 days on good behavior?
This is an easy NP at least for my neck of the woods (Northeast). Maybe they are a bit cheaper in the south where they haven’t all dissolved into iron oxide dust by now. NB Miatas with this mileage or more are going for 8-10k all day long up here. You see a few in the 5-7k range but they are typically pretty ratty. It…
Another day... another Ford recall.
Does the Ascent use a PTC heater for cabin heat? Or does it just supplement the regular coolant based heating system until the engine gets hot?
Basing it on the larger Ascent would probably help with the pervious Baja’s issue of just bine a bit too small even for a ‘compact tuck’.
For a few years my father had a 1980(ish?) Pontiac Bonneville diesel sedan. It was a company vehicle so it wasn’t by choice, unfortunately. (He had a 67 Camaro with a 327 prior to that.)
Another day... another Ford recall.
My daughter got Green Machine when she was about 7 and it was probably one of her most prized possessions. She practically ground the rear wheels down to nothing doing endless donuts in the street. I’m pretty sure my neighbors all came to hate the sound of it rumbling up and down the street, each pass ending with a…
Start with a notoriously finicky engine, add in some high mileage, a dab of ‘Other Wheels’ and for extra flavor throw in some janky exhaust exhaust mods. Dump the whole mess in the blender for an hour then bake. Top off with with limited parts availability and serve with rum... lots and lots of rum.
Another day, another Ford recall.
