I’m getting Porsche 928 Vibes from the rear.

I’m following along in this conversation, it’s painfully obvious so many people don’t actually know what Jordan Petersen is saying and just get sound bites from their preferred brainwashing machine/social media.

Yup. People around here are a little clueless about this car.

Don’t drop  your phone?  The design intent for the iphone isn’t for misuse, it’s for proper use.

That Cross Trek looks like if the 2004 Pontiac Vibe got a membership to a cross fit gym.

There are barely any medium fun cars any more. It’s basically Civic Sport or nothing. EDIT:  Scratch the Civic Sport, no 1.5t manual...

But if you’re buying in to the hype only to DD this and not drive it on track to its full potential, then I think it’s money wasted.

Nailed it.  I see this as people boiling down the word “Grand” to equal larger, when that is not necessarily the only definition for what grand means.  It generically means better, which could include being larger, bur grand does not exclusively mean larger.  Words mean things and apparently people are hung up on the

What does that have to do with paying attention to a historical moment in time?  Why do you care so much that other care?

To be fair, the word Grand doesn’t only mean bigger like it did for “Grand Caravan.” The first definition for Grand on Meriam Webster is “having more importance than others.”

Man.  Even if Just Darcy Richardson didn’t run, the dem could have won.

Ha. A few months back I made a comment on how the requirement to display license plates is in a way an infringement on our privacy and this is exactly why. Yes, driving is not a right, but a right to privacy is and if the government cannot be trusted to respect our privacy, they should not be able to force us to don

That being said, for the price of a hot hatch, there are cars I would shop first. I’m just not interested in $40-50k Corollas, no matter how fast and fun they might be. If I’m spending that sort of coin, I would rather have something else.

Ha. Nice try. I’ve had a Focus ST for 10 years. It’s been great. I’m not denying that a hot hatch is a great vehicle, but there are a lot of great vehicles to buy once you get into $37-$40K.

Meh. These extra hot hatches, Golf R, Focus RS, Civic Type R, Corolla GR, are not my cup of tea. I’d rather buy a car that’s not built from a compromised format, Front Wheel Drive. And at $40K, you can do that.

Jeep marketing is strong. Jeep products are not. It’s kind of fascinating if it weren’t so fucking ridiculous how people can be swayed to buy inferior products based on the image of owning a Jeep.

Ha. I was thinking of posting the same thing. It’s heinous. The amount of chrome trim is ridiculous and terribly executed.

Sounds to me like it impacts 15.6.1.  Which I just updated to last night...

OMG.  This is bad.  It looks like an early 90s for probe crossed with a diablo crossed with a pantera.  Yuhck

Wrong. They unnecessarily duplicated parts to be different for the sake of being different losing economy of scale. The badges alone lose a good amount of economy of scale in tooling up two badges for the same exact car. Then do the bumpers, headlights, steering wheels etc. The reason I am right is after the
