Compared to the domestic offerings in 1971, this 36 hp 2 cylinder car was absolutely a turd.

And that’s a fair answer that gets a point across. Hopefully with further discussion about why you shouldn’t do that other than the symbolism of being able to do whatever.

In reality I was simply replying to the post with an example of something going from impossible to done in 7 minutes.

You’re exactly right. Both of us can be! It’ a give and take. It’s hard to stick to your guns. But if the business needs it they will either find a way around it or ignore the dev and do it. Do you want to be a part of that or not? Help them find a way around it. Not saying Devs don’t, but the whole topic was an

I know. I know.

On the technical side. Not a manager. Only have a bachelors.

Ha.  No.  Far from it.  I’m on the technical side.

The dev needs to communicate this. If forced to do it, say I told you so. If you don’t like it, move on. But if one consistently finds themselves in a want to leave situation, there’s usually more to the story than just the employers not being a good fit.

Why do so many software developers have such bad attitudes like this? We are literally giving them work that they get paid to do and justify their existence.  It might even get them a promotion if they start getting more work.   Work on it if you are allowed to. If you can’t do it, tell me. I’m not personally

We are at an impasse. You’ve made a lot of justification for making assumptions about people based on their skin color which I believe is not OK for anyone to do regardless of race similarities/differences. You’ve also made assumptions about me because I am white, so that’s great.

But what you’re failing to understand is the kinship and shared history that Black folks share that influences our collective opinions and viewpoints.

This is the most ridiculous cop out for accountability for outward judgement I have ever read. Until THIS can be resolved internal to your “community,” things will never change.

Oh no! A typo. You got me.

You’re retarded ass doesn’t even know what a straw man argument is.

You’re conflating culture/ethnicity and race.

No. I’m not conflating anything with anything. The fact you think I’m conflating one generation of people for years of systemic exclusion of targeting to black people means your breadth of relevant information is completely inadequate for this conversation.

The problem with your narrative is you are playing holier than thou because you think that you don’t make any assumptions about a person/ demographic of people.

Me not providing an example for your straw man argument is a straw man argument?

The sad part is you are too incapable to find them or observe them for yourself.
