The Lightning is the definite answer for me, but I have zero faith I will be able to get one for at least two years.

Gallopnik.... Right?

Please, every time someone comes here to make this woosie ass point it’s obviously they only say this because they are ashamed that they, themselves, don’t even know how to properly operate a horse.

Nothing: Three-five years from now, things are going to severely change, new batteries, cheaper electrics, maybe solid state stuff. And maybe the market will be back to normal. That’s what I’m anticipating.

i want to see if GM can deliver on their 400 mile $40k silverado work truck. from all the coverage i saw they only seem to have the one pack so far and have said it was the one theyre including in the base $40k truck. if they can it will be a serious blow to fords 230 mile lightning and the Cybertruck. if the

I saw the image of the Hummer and immediately thought, yeah, the US has an insecurity problem. LOL

Agreed, I’m familiar with the regs. The EPA regs are incredibly stupid and everyone responsible for them should be burned at the stake.

Well, that’s my problem with the current Ranger. The interior is pretty bad and they drive like the 10+ year old vehicle that they are. I still think they’re great value given the capability and powertrain, but if they can make it more refined it’d be an absolute steal.

Does anybody truly believe that Ford will be making internal combustion engines ten years from now?”

im not sure why this isnt more talked about. EV’s can be for the masses that dont care whether or not theyre car is gasoline or not.  Your essential people mover should be an EV.  theres no reason for a Toyota Corolla to be gas powered. But niche vehicles could still be gas powered for the people that want them.

Honestly I see those as a failure point that doesn’t need to exist. Mirrors are a nice, simple solution that can be replaced cheaply.
