The header image made me think the copyright on the final gen 95 design expired.

Extended cab 1/2 ton with a 6.5' bed.  If I didn’t have to haul hay regularly, any small sporty hatch which is a GTI by default recently.

Lately I’ve been pointing out that the buggy whip industry didn’t have the lobby of big oil.

We were in a WFH mileage situation and seriously considering leasing something to replace a ‘14 GC a year ago. A new base GC seemed like a smart deal with the new GCL out. After considering the down payment plus 3 years of payments, it didn’t make sense.  I don’t really see how leasing makes sense unless one has

It’s interesting that the American pickup turned into a butch status symbol to appear rugged and blue collar, while blue collar types don’t put on a suit on weekends to appear sophisticated.

The front is overstyled; looking like a robot or storm trooper helmet, but GM must know better than I what truck buyers want. I’m curious about the bed length and what may be the next size up. Typical useless stubby beds are 5.5' with 6.5 the next size up. Will they still add a foot to the 5'11" size because that

One could fly progressive flags from the bed of their truck. This one would still be horrible and a useless waste of resources, but at least people would scratch their heads.

The only confederate flag that mattered was a white hanky tied to a stick.

Surprised they’re still renting Flex when it hasn’t been made since ‘19

It seems like they’ll collect dirt and salt and rust out way too soon.

I think your implied ratio of 1:1 for commuter truck : work truck is way off. Sales numbers/MSRP wouldn’t be what they are, Ram wouldn’t have coil springs, the surge of capable off road trims wouldn’t be the way they are if half of all trucks were used for legit work. I look forward to trucks as capable as they are

I live in rural MI and I get your point about trucks just being everywhere, but why? It can’t all be attributed to need or practicality. It’s a choice from a moneyed redneck with all his toys that burn gas to lower income buying a clapped out 15-20 year old truck. As I begin my family I picture our leisure time and

Checker’s/Rally’s depending on your location moved in to lots of old Hot N Now locations and have green olives as an option. A Big Buford add olives is burger bliss.

I get this is a fun nostalgia piece, but the state of our school lunches is abysmal. Most kids choose the same thing everyday. We’re conditioning them to eat highly processed garbage. If I were lunchroom czar, there would be far fewer choices and actual cooked real food with better versions of the junk food in the

It was actually “expresso” spelled the way people incorrectly pronounce the shot of coffee espresso.

What on Earth is going on with the rear track? Did they bolt on 4" spacers? Not to diss your dream car. Also, has the going rate for these really doubled in the past year?

The person carrying it is probably a felon who chose it for that reason.

Halving IBR payments on top of 10 or 20k forgiveness is game changing for lots of debt holders. The boost it gives PSLF eligible debt holders is an even bigger deal.

Trimm said she’s aware of the PSLF...but she and many others are uncertain about how to access it.

This was excellent and reinforced my fear of the ocean.
