My guess is that they’re not familiar with the road. I drive slow and go around the block when I’m in a strange town. Then again, I’m not wasted and showing off for the two honeys jammed into my new C8.

I would be thrilled to find this at a garage sale.
Those retro two tones were just perfect on that gen of Silverado. The ‘14-’15 is the best looking modern truck IMO. The ‘16 front clip redesign ruined it and the don’t get me started on the latest gen.
Ever.
I used to live in a city with a military proving ground and was told it’s standard practice for the losers of a defense contract bid/test process to file sore loser lawsuits.
You really need a peer reviewed study to know that most trucks are used simply as commuters?
The flaw with the underutilized sports car argument is that they don’t pose a danger to other motorists and pedestrians. Granny can put around in a Hellcat without any risk, the same can’t be said for a lifted HD truck.
Aftermarket lift kits should be illegal for on road use.
That line is the root of it all. I get that manufacturers have to best the competition with each new model, but I doubt that is driven by customer demand. “Purposeful” is a focus grouped word for tough, which I guess truck styling is, but it comes at being less practical. We didn’t need a set of steps to get into a…
The HDs were literally the same truck with more robust running gear and chassis. Dodge started the butch styling wars, but Ford went nuclear with the Super Duty in ‘99 that was a separate, bigger truck.
I bought a ‘13 F150 in two tone green/tan. It’s pretty classy looking. We need more two tone options for our trucks, not endless gray scales of CC/SB dad trucks.
Green peppers on pizza is practically my only food aversion. Rutabaga, too but it rarely comes up. Even on half the pizza, they get cooked and ruin the whole thing. Re Altoona, it seems like late night desperate Chopped in a bachelor kitchen.
Based on your description, I think you’d sell it if you wanted on BaT or CnB.
Lifted trucks are lost on me. Even more confounding is the $30k dealer package that consists of a lift kit, ridiculous wheels/tires, fender flares and spider decals. I just don’t see the person who could afford it and who would want it. I guess a young successful contractor? Rookie MLB player?
It should be at the federal level considering every passenger is screened by the same agency before boarding a plane.
The income/truck comparison puts new car prices in perspective.
More like 30% and you can top it off in 5 minutes at any of our thousands of gas stations when you empty the tank.
Useless bed for actually hauling things. I guess I’d take a 6.5' bed CC, but they’re cumbersome in any kind of parking situation. The only option I want is ventilated seats.
Oberon is literally a summer beer; it’s released each spring in northern markets but brewed year round for warmer regions.
This take is hysterical. Lots of people who flee are just criminals who know that when the cops get to them, they’ll go back to jail. They’re desperate criminals with no regard for others. This in no way excuses the officers and they and anyone who helped cover it up should rot in prison.
