Literally watched Zardoz last night because of this post.

I compare everything I drive not to my AE86 Corolla, but to my xB. Nothing hits all the checkboxes quite like the xB. It’s really tame and comfortable considering what you can do with it, but also stupidly practical. I slapped some 205/55 summer tires on it and it’s absurd how well it handles.
