And the rest of the calvary came.

The writing, direction, and pacing met the goofiness of the visuals and guest performances by keeping things light and zippy. It was a really fun 40 minutes that felt like 20 (in a good way.) Fun action, a non-desert planet, and a self-contained adventure that set aside some time at the end for “big picture” plot

Dear god, this was the worst episode in the worst season of what is, on its best day, a middling series.

definitely seems like *someone* made them reunite Din and Grogu in that other show that we shan’t speak of, whether it be the higher ups at Disney or LucasFilm or both OR just Favreau and co. not feeling completely confident in the direction of season 3 (which is 100% warranted, given what we’ve seen thus far) and

Whatever Buzz Killington, I got half an evil Christoper Lloyd monologue before he got electrocuted & Jack Black & Lizzo as the sweetest space couple in the universe.

“Would this blade then not belong to her?”

This felt like the full pendulum swing in the opposite direction of Andor, and I mean that in a good way. Star Wars contains room for multitudes, including goofy shit. And WOW was this episode some goofy shit!

It’s really disheartening for someone to have their own story taken from them, by their own parent no less, and they are only 16.

For all we know, they are under investigation. The danger, and what worries me, is what happens if you hit these people with child endangerment charges or something for letting a child with these known proclivities have access to a firearm. If someone takes this kid away from these parents, who is going to step up to

I love this show SO much!

‘Want’ may not adequately describe me feelings, but I am very curious. It’s a tall order to follow actors that have become this beloved, so I don’t envy who gets cast to fill in those shoes, but on the bright side, Ginny Weasley may finally get her due.

I had been wondering if they were going to do this for a while so they could include all the plot threads that were cut out for the movies because of time among other things.

If we work our way backwards to dragons vs. dinosaurs it’ll be worth it.

My wife and i watched it yesterday morning. A surprisingly thoughtful piece, marked by a refreshingly open interview subject. Which is no surprise, given that it’s Fetterman. I’m pleased to hear that he genuinely seems to be doing well, and that his openness may help to erode the stigmas around strokes, hearing

I don’t care who you are or what your politics are, it’s refreshing to see the reality, to hear the reality and to face the reality. Name the condition, it’s just nice to see people in positions of power being open and honest about their own experiences. It’s supportive and healthy. He’s going to be a person others

There’s not a lot of wifing or momming going on in her work since hitting the big time. Or ever, really. I think that’s what she means: she gets to do protagonist stuff, not significant-other stuff.

Surely anyone going to see a Director’s Cut of Midsommar in cinemas is an Aster fan? You’d be overjoyed at getting to see his new film before anyone else.
