This is actually what autopilot is in the marine world. It either maintains a constant direction for you, or follows a string of waypoints that you set for it. No throttle control either. Whatever you come across between two points is the person at the helm’s responsibility.

This might be more of a “hold this course until otherwise directed) type of autopilot. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong.

What is it about astrology, though, that almost all of us will still pay some attention to it? I think almost anyone presented with an idle moment and an astrological forecast in a newspaper would take a minute to read their sign, no matter how little they believe in astrology.

Not to mention that weirdly*, astrology only seems concerned with Greek constellations, as opposed to say, Persian or Chinese constellations.
