I first encountered JEH as Chris Peterson’s obnoxious cousin Donald on “Get A Life” (another role he totally nailed), and most recently as The Terror in the first season of Amazon’s “The Tick” in which he was beyond freaking incredible (and surprisingly drum-proficient). I was so disappointed when he wasnt in S2...

Man, Treehouse of Horror messed me up something bad, long before I was ever into horror. The ep where the teachers are eating the children is upsetting.

Want to rake your acquaintance!

it’s always important to hang onto the opinions you form at 11-12 forever and never amend them in any way or grow as a person.

I haven’t seen this and don’t intend to, but that was my question - he’s a child molester who also terrorizes kids with a razor glove and is able to hide this from the authorities but not the parents who end up killing him? At least the original had a logical simplicity. Child murderer, got caught but freed on

Jews don’t eat pie-piffle. Tell that to my Aunt Rosie, and she would make you her applesauce pie. A triumph of frugal minimalism: A graham cracker crust that uses margarine; 2 1/2 cans of applesauce, cinnamon, sugar, lemon juice and flour to thicken.

I’ve had a vegan roomate and vegetarian girlfriend a while back, and I always was the one that cooked because I was so much better at it than they were, and just fyi, there is a tons of stuff you can “tier” cook.
start with vegan, serve the roomate, add some stuff, serve the gf, add some meat, serve my ass. it needs a

Pretty sure it was Living Colour

my only problem with this idea is that Ash has to win, because he’s motherfucking Ash. but if they found a way to address that, I’m all in

My daughter is vegetarian, my wife wishes to be, so we cook vegetarian generally, and with working from home, I don’t get the chance to add meat to my diet at lunch. Recently, I’ve been salivating over recipes to make tortiere (a giant Quebec meat pie), and some of the recipes extol the virtues of lard for the crust.

TIL that hot takes are not a recent social media phenomenon — they are at least 96 years old! Seriously, I love how you tied the original article to your family history. And, um, hopefully a week from today, maybe we’ll all succeed in delaying the coming of the cossacks for a while longer?

This Jew eats pie. Just ask my wife .... please.

I think the prompt should just be: “Alas, what is not a sandwich?”

Gotcha covered here:

The lard in the crust thing makes a lot of sense.

Well clearly the Takeout needs to ask a whole bunch of celebrities if pie is a sandwich.

Let’s just say what we’re all thinking here; The Simpsons did a way better remake of these movies in seven minutes.

Excuse me, and what is bad about all you wrote in there?

Cameron shoulda hired Guybrush Threepwood.

Too late for Jack Dawson though.
