Oh yeah. The OP seems to be missing the point of a bachelor/ette party, which is a break from the constant haggling and negotiating of wedding planning to have fun on your terms. Whether you and your betrothed have the same idea of what that means should decide whether you do it together or separate.

My biggest bone of contention with this is just how goddamn boring these ideas are. The park? Picking fruit? We’re celebrating two lives pledging their love for one another, not spending a day with the grandkids. Jazz it up a little.
The trip to the museum and botanical gardens makes it adorable.
