Short sleeve button ups. I’m picturing you as a middle school vice principle.

Something tells me there are people working at these multi-billion dollar global companies that thought of that already.

To the woman I hated in the Peaky Blinders b/c she was messing around with Tommy Shelby who belonged to Grace (and me . . . ).

The fact that your coworker is an oversharer doesn’t have any bearing on the fact that women have to collect their babies’ food where you shit.

Seriously I live in Michigan and there are confederate flag rallies here. They are pathetic and sparsely attended, but they happen. I’ve met plenty of overtly racist asshats in this state and every other northern state I’ve lived in. Racism is not a southern thing.

I love this comment.

I agree with the OP on the Oscars issue but I think BLM is a different situation. To my understand, non-black POC (e.g., asian, latino) are not being brutalized by the policy to the extent that black people are.

I thought this when I read the article too. Maybe they aren’t speaking up b/c every time they do there are 1,000 articles about how they said this or that wrong?

Deviltry is a great word and I’m stealing it.

Who cares if the beliefs are based on religion? Why does that make them more deserving of respect? I mean, you can hate women and enslave people and base it pretty solidly on the good ol’ testament.

(d) none of the above?

Considering the airline can’t handle seating me next to my husband (I bought the tickets TOGETHER people), I’m not sure they would handle this with finesse.

I suspect the rules are applied in the most CONVENIENT manner possible (e.g., only female TSA agents?= I just thought of the most remarkably convenient exception to the rule!).

Oh man. You’re doing it all wrong and, frankly, lucky to be alive. You hold your breath going by a cemetery. You SCREAM going under a bridge. God I can’t believe you weren’t crushed by 1000 falling bridges

Just want to say I disagree with the commenter who said you were being judgmental. The actions you’re discussing are sooooo over the top silly, and the fact that they stem from sincerely held religious beliefs does not make them any less silly, in my opinion.

I disagree. Just b/c these people’s extremely silly actions are tied to religion, doesn’t mean we shouldn’t make fun of them.

If she filed a separate suit in a different state Sony would almost certainly move to have the cases joined b/c of the overlapping subject matter, and they would probably be successful. End of the day, she stays before the same judge.

I mean it still sucks. The litigation (if they don’t settle) could drag on for years and years, and because she failed to get the injunction, she would be stuck with Sony. Honestly, Sony could stall the case strategically to stretch it out over the length of her contract.

We probably work in different legal fields but I could pull a preliminary injunction out of a hat when I was in private practice. All ya need is a showing of irreparable harm and likelihood of success on the merits. Seems like it should have been easy peasey rice and cheesey (to use the latin term).

Horrifying? Really? Is Twitter the state now?
