I’ve had devices that would give me all those things:

Variable temp electric kettle, hot and ‘ambient’ (warm) water: $40 (I’ve had it since 2004, still going strong

Filtered water: Brita tank filter, 27 cup capacity: $38. Filters cost $2/month

Seltzer bottle: $33. Cartridges cost about $.50 each or less.

How long would it

“There are a lot of assumptions in this piece that should be challenged by anyone considering whether to buy this!”

There are a lot of assumptions in this piece that should be challenged by anyone considering whether to buy this! Do you like the taste of your municipal water, as the author surprisingly does? Is keeping filter carafes full and filters changed really that difficult, and if so, how would you feel about continually chan

Rich people are wild.

You’re making it sound like the creative team at Mondo made that particular bad decision & deserved to be taught a lesson. I don’t think that’s the case— the sale was a decision by Alamo Drafthouse, nobody at Mondo had any control over it as far as I know. And since Alamo got paid, “maybe don’t sell out next time”

Yeah, but is it because it’s so good or just because it’s new and there’s literally only one location? Sonic and Krispy Kreme used to be really popular when they first opened here too, but now, theres hardly a line at either. Also, their food offerings look pretty meh. I was expecting a bit more than egg McMuffins

Give me $3,000 and I will paint your Stanley Quencher any color you want.

Turns out not everyone lives near local places or can afford them. Sorry we are all not like you and can afford that luxury.

a lot of people are crying about “woke” films. I think it is because there are women in them. The good news is I like women. My joke here is that I’m not using “woke” as a reason to avoid films. The reason I’m not going to see the latest batch of superhero films is because they are getting progressively dumber. I see

Funny how many commentors say that Boeing has no responsibilty for their planes becauseit doesn’t make engines”.

Do they have one for every character in all media since the beginning of time yet? They must be close.”

I think it would have been environmentally friendlier to have sent the palstics to an incinerator (the Green term: waste to energy facility) to produce energy than to bury them in a landfill. Yes, I know, carbon into the atmposphere, but landfills are also not good.

I’d consider paying to NOT have AI integrated.

particularly because many Amazon employees don’t believe that people will be willing to pay”

This sentence needs a “correctly.”  “Many Amazon employees correctly don’t believe that people will be willing to pay.”

so it seems that big corporations are trying to make ‘’AI’’ their new cashcow?

Samsung with the possibility of charging users for the AI capabilities as of 2025, Amazon, etc

Give us a break with AI, please god. Humanity has bigger problems to work on.

My cats want me to give them a Lebanon Bologna sandwich every time I make one for myself too, but they’re not getting that, either.

Good, hopefully it scares away the remaining fools who welcomingly allow these mega-corporations to spy on them and their families.

Cool story Boris.

Just an interjection here:

Microsoft started this shit, lest we forget.
