I do like a good prosciutto crisp.
Sure, you are right. You can get sticks here. but the only person I know who does is my MIL, because she only bakes once a year and the sticks fit in her butter dish better.
I live in Canada, my guy. Our butter isn’t sold in sticks, nor measured in tablespoons. Other countries are different! Wow!
Why not just call it half a cup? Honestly, if the recipe doesn’t give me cup, oz, or ml measurement equivelent, I just don’t make it.
Well, thank you...but that means our “sticks” are different too.
Right? And while we are at it, a “stick” of butter is a useless measurement. I buy my butter in a brick. I’ve seen measurements that claim a “stick” is 1/4 cup. I’ve seen where it’s supposedly half a cup. Give me some bloody measurements!
Eurgh.
Claire, you are the best writer on the internet. This is awesome, and I am going to do this, possibly today if I don’t drown in my coffee cup instead.
