I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't a plant so much as someone who, realizing that he's being filmed and scrutinized, just starts saying what he thinks the Chevy people want to hear.
"Welp, I had a good run."
But he's a Nice Guy!
Still no word one way or the other yet.
This is the final flop? Man, I am going to miss this series. Going through the backlog has gotten me through some rough days at work.
I will say it's impressive as hell that he managed to play a shitty, annoying as hell Johnny Storm twice and managed to turn his career around to the degree he did. I feel like nobody else could have come back from that role. I mean, yeah he had to work with the script he was given, but still.
I do love how calm Chris Evans always is when he responds to these guys.

Man, I still remember seeing Silence for the first time in the theater, and the sound and feeling of the entire theater gasping and tensing up at the moment in the night-vision scene when we realize this is from Buffalo Bill's POV when he's behind her, and slooowly reaches out to almost touch her hair…
"Also, it's been over 15 years since the song came out. For the love of fuck move on."
They're not "conservatives" anymore, they're anti-liberals. Really, that's it.
"Why's everyone so upset? It's just fake! J/k! Yeah, I inflicted physical and emotional harm on another person for my own amusement, and yes everyone who's seen this saw how morally bankrupt I was, but it was just a joke! That means it's okay and I don't have to feel bad about it or anything! 'Just kidding' is the…
