I wonder if they ever were even on screen together at the same time in the pilot or second episode. I don't think they were.

They should've just had Roose off him after he announced the baby. He was a more interesting character.

Haven't read the books but I know what happens. I've been a huge fan of the show but have been disappointed this season.

It's a good point. Most of the people they have around are good enough to get the job done, but the writing really lets them down.
