Number of times this season a “shocking” death has occurred just from someone straight up stabbing the other person: 3 dead (Roose, Doran, Osha)

I wonder if they ever were even on screen together at the same time in the pilot or second episode. I don't think they were.

They should've just had Roose off him after he announced the baby. He was a more interesting character.

Haven't read the books but I know what happens. I've been a huge fan of the show but have been disappointed this season.

It's a good point. Most of the people they have around are good enough to get the job done, but the writing really lets them down.

It seems like since they booted Jost as head writer, things have gone down hill.

What?! Vanessa Bayer is awesome. They need to get her on more.

I agree. To me the only ones who I would miss are Cecily Strong, Vanessa Bayer, Bobby Moynihan, and Kate McKinnon. Also Jost and Che on weekend update. They could really use a house cleaning and especially get some new writers in there.

The cold open was awful. SNL seriously needs to do some self examination if it can't make Darrell Hammond and Bobby Moynihan funny in a Trump Christie sketch.

Two wrongs don't make a right. We learned that in 3rd grade. Campaigning against racism and stereotyping by doing it yourself, doesn't accomplish anything. There are many white males who support Bernie or Hillary, who aren't racist or sexist, so why demonize all white men in one broad stroke? It's hypocritical and

I actually enjoyed this episode after disliking most of the episodes after January. Lot of good stuff to keep me laughing throughout. I've been highly critical so I have to give credit where it's due.

This show has a lot of good stuff going for it, particularly an excellent cast. But the plotting leaves a lot to be desired. I found it tough to sit through most of the episodes as there just wasn't anything that interesting happening most of the time. These Netflix Marvel shows are a bit diluted, should prob be 8-10

These articles are well written, but pretty silly how the writers focus on the episode title as if the show runners are cobbling these episodes together based on themes. They name the episode after its been outlined and written, so it's an after thought. This particular episode title had changed just as soon as this

But it's not like for seasons 1 through 5 Dave and Dan were adapting directly from the book. In fact, probably 95% of the scenes were brand new scenes that they wrote for TV. Plus they've added a lot of new beats, like Tywin, Arya and other stuff that was great. So no I don't think it's because they don't have the

There was some weird dialogue in this one. For instance, Cersei comparing Mag the Frog's prophecy to what Jaime said as a prophecy. Or Tyrion going "good thing you're not a boy anymore, you have no cock". Or Khal Moro, after being told by Dany who she was, still not realizing she was Khal Drogo's wife until she

I see your point. I'm just not sure that it's the crowds fault. I've been watching the past couple of weeks and there have been a lot of really bad jokes that have fallen flat and deservedly have gotten nothing from the audience. I didn't notice anything that different last night to be honest. The plane joke wasn't a

It's irrelevant though. The big audience is the TV audience and if the stuff is funny people at home will laugh. That was kind of a bitch move by Jost to complain about the audience especially on a subpar joke.

Ah K thanks, I don't think I'd ever seen it.

Katie Perry probably let them use it.
