There are a few movies I hold in my heart as the platonic ideal of film, and this is one of them. I actually just rewatched it last week and it still grabs me from frame one and doesn’t let go until the credits roll.

I listen to all of Norman Fucking Rockwell! for free now, so I’d definitely take someone’s money to keep doing that.

I thought the pop star in Trap was called “Lady Raven”? Checking IMDB, Riley seems to be the name of Josh Hartnett’s daughter in the movie, who probably has Lady Raven as her profile pic like the countless Taylor Swift profile pics out there in Insta-land.

I don’t have kids, so I don’t really care one way or another about Pixar et al, but all my friends with kids have been looking forward to this more than anything else coming to theaters, so it’s definitely a sequel people are asking for.

I had no idea Hannah Pearl Utt got into directing. I last remember her from the very fun web series Dorm Life, but it looks like she’s done a lot since then, which is awesome. Nora Kirkpatrick also came out of that show and she’s already had a great career.

I saw it this weekend. It was a snooze, and there were also a grand total of 2 of us in the showing I went to.

For me, KEXP is my go-to when I want to listen to new stuff. I know I could just throw a random station on a streaming service seeded with stuff I like, but I actually like having DJs who are fans getting all fannish about bands I’ve never heard before and find myself liking too.

Where’s the entry for “Everyone Not Named John Wick” in John Wick 1-4?

The feature itself isn’t going away though, it’s just the web version that’s being killed. You can still do this on your phone if you want.

Is this something anyone really cares about? If your trip was worth reminiscing about, you probably have photos and a photo app that’s already creating a memory slideshow of said trip for you that’s way more reminiscence-worthy than looking at a line and/or some stock photos on a map.

Whatever this turns out to be, Nathan Fielder and Emma Stone is my new favorite Hollywood friendship by a wide margin.

Did you type this while resting comfortably on your My Pillow?

Such a versatile & talented singer. People will remember the 80s hits, but check the rest of her catalogue, she can really sing anything.

Chuck D was 60 when the last Public Enemy album came out in 2020 and it was a banger which included “State of the Union (STFU)“ that didn’t mince words about a certain felon we all love. Also included a nearly 80 year old George Clinton on multiple tracks.
