OMG V66. I watched WAY more of that and Video Jukebox than I ever did MTV.

Now that you mention Primus, “Wynona’s Big Brown Beaver” would probably make my top 50 list as well.

Oh wait, and how did “Lucas With the Lid Off” not make the cut?! Maybe because it’s not on Youtube? Anyway, this video was the most amazing thing I’d ever seen when it came out and it led me to Michel Gondry’s other films.

One thing that’s in the book that doesn’t at all come through in the trailer is that the protagonist (Jodie Comer’s character) has kind of a dry dark-ish sense of humor which I liked quite a bit. The book is also very very short (like 150 pages), so I feel like they have to pad it to make a movie and that worries me.

The End We Start From was a really good read. Hard to tell from this teaser if the movie will do it justice, but fingers crossed.

This is a foolish list to even attempt for any other reason than SEO engagement, so yeah, well done.

The Strangers is one of my favorite movies of the 2000s and in a lot of ways I feel like it’s a perfect movie. Tight, short, beautifully staged & shot, telling a small story. The sequel was sort of a dud because it stripped away everything that made the first one special and turned it into a by the numbers slasher

Do we know if they’re dropping all the episodes at once or if it’s weekly?

The WGA reacted angrily to the announcement, saying: “Comedy Central forcing Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert back on the air will not give the viewers the quality shows they’ve come to expect.”

Greta: “Ah, you see, Ken had gotten into an accident with Barbie’s Dream Car, and because Ken didn’t have insurance, the judge decreed that he become Barbie’s butler.”

Saoirse as Jerry, Greta Gerwig as George, Jane Lynch as Kramer, Timothee Chalomet as Elaine. Seinfeld reboot, sorted.

This list is missing The Net 2.0, which is bad and pretty much entirely disconnected from the original aside from the director being the son of the director of The Net.

I watched a Quibi! It was The Stranger which was the one where Maika Monroe plays an Uber driver who picks up Dane DeHaan who is a crazy guy. It was not amazing but also not a bad way to kill less than 2 hours binging something with a complete plot.

I know it’s not the same, but I do still watch Shawn of the Dead, Anna and the Apocalypse & 28 Days Later pretty much every year, so I would be down for The Walking Dead: House of Commons or something.

The Pretty Reckless has a few bangers in their catalog & she has a good rock voice, so I think she made the right call.

That was the first thing I looked for too, pretty surprised it wasn’t there!

I thought I was losing my damn mind.

They are firmly entrenched in the “not gonna break any new ground, not gonna suck” phase of their careers, like AC/DC or ZZ Top.

John Kramer’s twin brother . . . Ron Kramer!
