I’m hoping Dolly getting in will help get Willie in. The dude has contributions to basically every genre of music across several decades. Aside from his own great recordings, his songs have been done by everyone from Aretha & Roy Orbison to Snoop Dogg & Jello Biafra. He should be in every music hall of fame possible.

The thing about Kindred for me is that I have been riveted and captivated by the book every time I’ve read it. The show did not do that for me. It just had the feel of a bog standard TV mystery/thriller and not the deeply personal, painful journey of this one woman that the book captures so well.

She’s fine, but June Fanta is obviously the star power in this.
