@sexydawg: i think that fits dennis kusinich better, even if he did drop out.

hopefully you will learn quickly that no one else really cares about your "status". if not, then you are what the kids refer to these days as a "tool".

i've been using azureus for years, but it's become so bloated lately that i think i'm ready to look at alternatives. i think i'll give utorrent a whirl.

adam: lissakay is correct. the wmwifirouter site is up, but downloads have been disabled.

be careful with tethering your phone to your laptop. most cell carriers frown on doing this unless you have a real data plan, not the one thats available for regular cellphones. there have been cases where people have been billed bigtime when caught.

rule one of car maintenance: don't take advice from reader's digest. get it from people who know what the hell they're talking about.

yay easier ways to steal stuff.

yaay, easier ways to steal stuff.

sorry, but the "recalibrate your li-ion" battery stuff is baloney, same as on a laptop.

one trick i learned was to just turn the damn ringer off when i don't want to answer the phone. might not be a good idea at work, but at home it works like a champ.

@SilberDrachi: i don't see it having heat problems at all. none of the ultraportables i've seen throw off a lot of heat.

@Jarick: i find it odd that someone would drink folgers coffee at all, never mind two year old folgers.

@wffurr: in principle i guess. it just wont be the huge piece of shit that communicator was.

@GroovyMojo: you would have the social interaction of actually being with and meeting people, as opposed to staring at somebody's crappy myspace page. i know i'm way out of myspace/facebooks targeted demographic, but i just don't understand the attraction. but anyway, this is off topic.

@SeanOHara: the answer is, i'm sure, yes. just run the tracks through one of the 80 million freeware fairplay drm removers. then stop buying drm'd tracks.

if your life consists of myspace/facebook/twitter, i would say you have bigger issues than backing stuff up.

everybody should read "kitchen confidential" anyway.

@davelawrence8: waiting for the sdk and 3g. screw jailbreaking. i don't want to have to worry about my apps getting broken because i want to do an official firmware upgrade.

i should qualify my "infrequently" vote by saying that it's more because of the crappy browser on my razr v3xx. back when i had a sidekick 2 i used the browser all the time. when the 3g iphone is released and i end up getting one (which is more than likely) i'll be using the browser a lot more.

this looks pretty promising. maybe this will finally get some of my users to shut up about us not running outlook/exchange.
