From WAY behind, on the next to last lap of a wild race, against an arguably faster Cadillac that had been dominating the series, for the underdog team’s only win of the season... sounds pretty incredible to me.
How does one convince their wife/fiancee/gf/bf/person to let them have a wheel set up chilling in the middle of a common space or living room?
Dedicated rig? iRacing. Start with a free 3 month trial that they’re generally giving out. Tough at first but worth it. Pick up either Project Cars or Assetto Corsa for something that is better suited for single player and can be more casual if you want it to be. Step 3 profit?
If I were to commit to getting a Logitech wheel/shifter/pedals rig and flatscreen to create a dedicated sim set-up would I be better served with an actual sim like iRacing or a game like Forza or Gran Turismo?
I take it you only want Ferrari supplying engines to the sport? Because that’s how Mercedes, Renault and Honda exit F1.
I’m probably going to get lynched, but I didn’t much care for season 1.
In the Drivers’ Meeting that F1 posted to YouTube a day or two ago, it’s not even the Haas team that raises the question of who pays. Lewis Hamilton brought it up, pointing out that not every team is made of money, and Charlie Whiting encouraged Haas to talk to the track owners.
He’s got a lovely looking driveway that should hold it just fine.
Seriously, at this point, the ACO should let the DPi’s run in Le Mans next year.
If Cadillac plans to put those resources behind their DPi program... hmmm, perhaps they’re a little spooked by the impending entries of Penske and Joest next season?
Once you reach a certain age, pitching a tent gets harder and harder.
It’s how I win Gran Turismo races, so it must be legit :)
People have a right to protest. That is the bloody essence of America.
Someone else said it much better than I.
Being British I would like to offer my deepest sympathy to those affected by this tragedy and in no way will I have any joyful emotions about Silverstone being scheduled for August 2018. I will not celebrate when I will be there lying on the embankment beside Hangar Straight, engaging in the great American…
As a Texas native I think can weigh in on his thought process.
I watches this one today, road course NASCAR is the only NASCAR I watch. This was a pretty good race but a great finish.
