Licences for iRacing are a lot harder, as they have to fully scan cars and get a crap ton of telemtry from the teams, not all of which are willing to give it out. Look at the BTCC cars they licensed. Still nothing after three years. And I doubt it will struggle. IMSA still hasnt got all the GT and uses the old C7DP…

Licensing. iRacing has to go to the manufacturers of the cars to get the licence.

As someone who has been on iRacing for 3 years now, I would highly recommend it if you were getting a full rig. It isnt an easy sim to get used to, the cars behave like they do for real, with a lot of finesse needed. But definitely rewarding once you find your chosen discipline.
