It’s even fun with the hardtop still on (this was an unusually long stretch of warm days in March here in St. Louis and I hadn’t swapped to the soft top yet). And, yes, the front doors off and rear doors on is strange-looking to me, too.

And I thought being a fireman was a cool job.

First of all, i don’t NEED you to fix my computer for free. I have money and I’ll gladly pay to have it fixed. Second, If I needed you more than you need me, my tax dollars would be paying you instead of the other way around. As for the discussion, cooling the batteries with water is the first priority. Foam may be

Someday you will have to call 9-1-1 or someone will call it for you. Either way, sleep tight knowing that myself or one of my brothers or sisters will answer the call not knowing your true feelings towards public safety personnel. Also, thanks for proving my point, you used the word “extinguished” where you meant to

You're right about tank volumes, but most accidents will get multiple pumpers. It just may take a few minutes longer in rural areas, but most rural departments have water tenders, too which can empty directly into an on-scene truck thereby more than quadrupling it's capacity.

As a 20 year career firefighter, I’ve fought a few EV fires. Here’s how it works: think of that fire truck as a giant tool box that carries water. It’s our job to find the tools to mitigate whatever situation we’re confronted with. Most cars that catch fire are totalled out anyway, so what we do is drown the fire

So, you’re calling me stupid? I’m not the jackass that put an axe through a bunch of battery powered electronics. To your point however, water can put out EV battery fires. I’ve done it. It just takes copious amounts of it. You won’t be extinguishing it with your garden hose. While foam is for spilled fuel fires, it

If I was a few hours closer, I would have brought this beauty.

I think they mean to bring the compact pickup back, which unfortunately wouldn't pass any new crash tests because it's going to be surrounded by all the full-size 3/4 ton behemoths and so we end up with the new Ranger.

I’m with you on that. I have four cars with manual transmissions (Acura TL SH-AWD, Acura CL Type-S, Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, and a 92 Trans Am). The Trans Am is the only one that has gear oil in it and it’s the only one that resists gear changes. The other three use ATF so i guess manufacturers have figured out the

In Missouri, it’s against the law to let it idle UNATTENDED. The law is meant to discourage theft of unattended idling cars. It’s definitely not a strictly enforced law here as I see cars running every morning at whatever convenience store I’m at.

I’d suggest if they’re going to use 1:1 cars/trucks in it that they find some existing vehicles and make Hot Wheels cars out of them before the movie is released. If they don’t, they’re going to spend a fortune building cars to emulate Hot Wheels. Personally, I predict it'll go “straight to video”.

I miss my mini-truck. 1984 B-2000 (the original Ford Courier,BTW). My first manual transmission, too. This was 1988 and, yes, that’s a new 4-runner in my parents driveway and, yes, it’s a 5-speed.

I think the point of this car is that it’s a limited production model. It’s like saying a Shelby GT350 is just a Mustang. Of course you can get more power for your money, but it won’t be wrapped in such a historical body. Nor will it appreciate in value like this will. I have a 1992 Trans Am. I’m well aware that a

Don’t take this the wrong way, reidlos. I totally agree with you. I just love this gif and try not to pass up any chances to use it.

I see your leather scrotal and rubber accordian shift boots and raise you a rubber scrotal Jeep shift boot. I apologize for the ponytail holders. I have a wife and daughter who never seem to have one when they really need one. I was under the impression for almost 3 months that it was leather until I cleaned it for

The IROC-Z in Bad Mom’s Christmas......

Weight savings, bro!

Sunoco and Gulf fiesta come to mind. Any “Miss Budweiser” (I’m from St. Louis, so I am definitely biased), the Porsche “pink pig” 917, the Cartoon Network sponsored NASCARs of the late 90s. I’m sure there’s more.

I’ve heard of dumping a car in a lake for the insurance money, but this is ridiculous.
