I think you’re onto something. I have an Unlimited and live in the ‘burbs, but this is all true. I’d add that the factory side steps will also prevent door dings (in garages or parking lots) from anything other than a full size 4x4 truck and a hardtop and manual trans will discourage thievery. If you do have a soft

Did you miss the photo of the red one with a black soft top?

Yes it is. Homeowners property can be saved if possible. Life and property, in that order.

Once again, structural fire and wildland firefighters with no structural firefighting equipment.

Look, dude, those guys are in wildland gear. No SCBAs, no forcible entry tools. No structural firefighting gear! They’re probably wearing Carharrt pants for fuck's sake! They have no hose, no pumper, no way to fight a structural fire!

If these firefighters, who are dressed in wildland gear, had no structural firefighting equipment, which is much different than forest firefighting equipment, they have no business fighting a structure fire. They are probably part of a small team of 5-10 guys that are just trying to do something to help.

If the house is already unsalvageable, yes, you start saving property in the house and that includes Shelby Mustangs.

Thats exactly what we do. You save the car deemed worth more at Mecum. As always, after lives are no longer in danger.

I’m a firefighter and triage goes like this: other’s lives -> myself and other firefighters -> property. Trust me, there was no other life to save at that moment. This piece of American history is definitely property worth saving. Even if it wasn't evacuated to a place away from the fires, due diligence was done just

Gladiator sounds more macho than Scrambler.

I wouldn't consider buying one if I couldn't get a third pedal.

Me, too.

I think it will hit GM and Ford small truck sales hard, but it will eat into Wrangler sales more than many people think. Jeep Wrabgler owners are very loyal and as long as they keep the convertible, removable doors, manual transmission, and basic “Jeep” looks aspects alive, they’ll sell and continue to have one of the

It WILL sell to Unlimited buyers. I’m one of them. I sold an F150 crew cab to buy my current Wrangler Unlimited. I wouldn’t consider buying a Gladiator if it didn’t have 4 doors.

“I don’t think anyone is clamoring for an awkward looking Wrangler full size truck.”  This same statement was made when the Wrangler 4 door was introduced (of course “four door” replaced “full size truck”) and now there are probably 10 Unlimiteds made for every 2 door Wrangler. It’s not going to be a full size truck,

This is a Haval-uvva way to have a discussion! Haval of you thought about what you're doing?

I see your SC and raise you an Acura CL. They’re FWD, but still a lot of fun. The Type-S got you an LSD and an optional 6-speed. This is a photo of my son’s 2003 which is one of the 3500 manuals.

Yes we have. The Wrangler is all those things.

I agree, but could they make a smaller one that would pass all the crash testing?

It would have to look more like a Wrangler with the convertible top, removable doors, sport bar, solid axles, etc.
