You’re over-generalizing a bit. That’s like saying every crotch rocket owner is a freeway wheelie riding idiot. I don’t use my auxiliary lighting unless I’m off road and every one else I know does the same. There’s good and bad everywhere.

Jeeps look like they do because owners don’t want their vehicle to look like everyone else’s. This also explains why the appearance aftermarket is as vast as it is. People want uniqueness even in an SUV that already looks different. If you think I’m wrong, look at the resale value of Wrangler Unlimiteds. They’re worth…
I have a 2015 Wrangler Unlimited and one of my big reasons for purchasing it was it’s a 4x4 SUV with a manual transmission. The removable doors and hard/soft tops are just a perk. I don’t subscribe to the Angry Birds eyes replacement grille either (or the winch, high-lift jack, “Jeep thing”/flip me over stickers, etc.…
That’s just plain mean.
Make fun of the old fashioned lock all you want. At least they still haven’t had a right side keyhole since 2003. Jeep owners hide their doors at home because they can. C’mon, admit it. If more vehicles had easily removable doors, people would use them.
There is definitely something very intriguing about engine/transmission swapping any of the 70s personal luxury coupes from the big 3. I also like the pro touring aspect as well. I would have to go a step further and add a third pedal though.
Mazda’s way is fine with me. If I have to restart my car after an emergency braking incident, it’s okay. It’s similar to knowing I’m not going to get remote start because of my manual transmission. I’ll make certain sacrifices to have three pedals
It definitely should be bought and preserved only because those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it.
😂😂😂😂😂
Good call. I love the CTS-V wagons! If only I could afford one. That silver Wrangler Unlimited up there will have to quench my 3-pedal thirst until I can.
This is a wagon, pretty much (esp. when the hardtop’s on) and it’s a 6-speed manual.
🤣🤣
🤣
😂
Nobody was making power back then. The Corvette had, like, 285. We are truly living in the good old days right now.
🤣
To reiterate g8v84life’s comment:
My wife’s first car was a rust-colored 1984 RX-7. Im pretty sure it was a base model because it had a manual choke and the only power option was the brakes. The A/C worked, though. I taught her to drive a manual transmission in that car the day she bought it. It was a great car. After nursing school, she traded it for…
A manual transmission gen 3 RX7 is on my bucket list of cars to own. I still have yet to see anything that holds a candle to it’s looks.
My in-laws 2006 Impala has a 3 across front bench/folding armrest.
