I see this as no different than something like MST3K and Rifftrax. I enjoy a lot of the movies Rifftrax rips on, but that doesn't mean that they can't be made fun of.

I just bought this game the other day. I agree that it has great level design (I never even noticed the four part structure of it). The charm of this game is the, I guess whimzy would be the word for it. The game is just delightful. It make me happy to play it, even if I am repeatedly dying.

It's being released this year. It isn't in any sort of development hell or anything. Why would you think it would end up as Wii U vaporware?
