What is “regular right wing”? How is it distinct from “hard right wing” and how does that distinction make it “fine”?

Now playing

I never claim it couldn’t be who you were, I just claimed that if one of the options was it was who you were then you were ignorant. Which is true because, saying stuff like, “I don’t like defining things left or right” and “programmed to believe that all opinions have a left or right wing agenda” says so. I’m gonna

Jesus CHRIST Ubisoft, what the hell is wrong with you?! I went into this article assuming it would just be a case of them using something a graphic or imagery similar to the raised-fist in a poorly thought out or negative context that somebody should have noticed and scrapped ahead of time. But the fact that the whole

There was no coincidence or mistake, the game’s plot is clearly ripped from the headlines. “Violent anarchists” co-opting a revolutionary movement is more right wing nonsense. Any chance you guys can do an article looking into the recent wave of fascist games? Call of Duty and Tom Clancy were always right wing

That’s his exact point though. Old games always had bad looking rocks and mountains, which is why it’s such a surprise to have them suddenly become something extremely attractive. Skyrim is just one example of an old game with a prolific mountain that is kinda meh.

What a crass thing to say. I have loved rocks for all 31 years of my life and will continue to be in awe of them until the day I am on my deathbed. On screen or off! Hrmph

I’d love to agree, but I’ve been jaw dropping since i got my 2080ti build in late 2018. RDR2 still induces a whimper when I seen a pretty vista.

After reading the headline, I was prepared to come in with a, “nobody should apologize for fart noises” take, but god that commentary was horrible. Irreverence is great, but the “I have no interest in what’s happening in this match or grasp of humor” was cringe inducing.

Fuck the CCP

However, as with any sci-fi universe, there was a convoluted and silly explanation offered

RDs now have a clutch mechanism on the cage that prevents the chain/cage inertia from removing slack from the chain on the lower side. This (along with a narrow-wide chainring) allows you to run a 1x drivetrain without any sort of chain retention device. Bonus, the chain no longer slaps the snot out of the chainstays

Is that because they can ride every single trail off-road regardless of what they are designed for but kinda suck on the road. Because if that’s your point, you hit the nail on the head.

Simplification, weight reduction and with modern cassettes and derailleurs you can get practically the same gearing range... it’s pretty cool tech.

“I bought a bike, and now I have tetanus and a $50K bill from the hospital for emergency transport and surgery” is exciting, but maybe not desirable.

If Raph had owned a Cimarron as a kid, or always wanted one but couldn’t afford one, I would understand it. I just don’t see anything compelling about this bike, and I don’t know old mountain bikes enough to know if I should. Was the Schwinn Cimarron an aspirational bike 33 years ago? Based on his posts, he just

We bought our kids new bikes recently and ran into the same thing. There were waiting lists months long   They said it was a combination of things. Some of the factories making frames and other parts in China were interrupted and then they under estimated the demand and so now are way behind in production.

I kind of get that, but looking at that damage this looks genuinely dangerous.  That frame clearly can’t cut it off road.

You could grab a 2010's Hardrock for $200 with a real Rockshox air suspension fork and it would be a million times more fun.

For actual mountain biking, he should buy something more appropriate. It doesn’t have to be new as a lot of people buy too much bike before knowing if they even like it or get injured and quit after a few sessions, so they sell lightly used fairly new bikes at heavy discounts (of course, that doesn’t necessarily mean

Gotta say, not totally sure what the appeal of an old mountain bike is. Everything about them is worse than a newer bike, but not in the good way a vintage car is. And $150 will get you a decent used bike.
