Is this the child sexual abuse enabling pizzeria Q was warning us about in 2020?

I mean, all things considered, he’s not exactly wrong about this:

Game Pass is a huge reason.

I have been playing the PS4 version on PS5 for a couple weeks. No major problems.

You don’t have to optimize crowds on PS4 if they’re already bad to begin with.

Notice he’s not saying they won’t crunch, he’s just saying they won’t explicitly demand it...they’ll just less obvious, psychologically shittier tactics to pressure people into it.

So, that’s super cool.....

Well, I can’t think of a single reason to doubt anything this guy promises.

Except this is also true of internal batteries. When those get old, either the controller has to be dismantled or the whole thing needs replacing.

Eneloop batteries, the ones typically recommended for rechargeable, are good for 2100 charge cycles. In my experience (although not a heavy gamer) they’ll last for at least a week of use. Light gaming or just using it as a media box, I often don’t have to swap batteries for 2-3 weeks. Charging once a week means

Random sidenote but apparently Kinja turns commenter links to amazon into Kotaku affiliate links? I guess it’s not a big deal but feels a little skeevy.

Rechargeable batteries, depending on the brand, have a decent life cycle. I’ve got enloops that I use, and the AAs have a 2 or 3 thousand charge life span. I’ve got some from three years ago that work just fine and last longer than any PS4 controller I’ve used.

The only rechargeable controller I’ve used with

Rechargable batteries do degrade over time but that applies to the internal ones too. The difference is with AAs you can dispose of the old ones and buy some more. With the internal batteries if they do wear out you’re going need a new controller or try to replace it yourself.

Well thank goodness for that deal. My AA rechargeables last wayyy longer than my DS4 internal battery, and when they run out they can be easily swapped rather than having to find a super long cable or suspend gaming while I charge the controller.

Before any silly suggestions get made, batteries are much cheaper

I’m glad that they do. I much prefer swapping some rechargeable batteries than having to dock and charge a controller.

It’s all the boredom of Odyssey, with the added perk of having the single most anticlimactic ending of any game I have ever played.  As a huge fan of the Ezio series and Black Flag, all future AC’s for me have officially reached “I’ll buy it when it’s down to $15.99" status”.  Usually when you lather, rinse, repeat

They should make it so if you hold the assassinate button you’ll carry them, but if you just tap it you just assassinate.

Have you not gotten the drunk glitch?

Yes on both counts. I shouldn’t have to wait 30 seconds for Eivor to sober up every time I load a game. And I live in Maine, I’m desperate for an escape from snow.

I just want this event to end. I’ve been more adventurous in the game lately (read: taking on raids I’m too weak for; failing at beating zealots and other bonus bosses) and the drunken revival thing is getting real frustrating.

After receiving many messages from gamers, we have decided not to list the game in our store.”
