It's funny, what "Parting of the Sensory" always makes me think of Isaac's Ugly Casanova record.

I like Magic, but it took a while to get over how much it sounded like Muse's "Madness".
I feel like Loyalty to Loyalty is their best album by far. I feel like they went so hard to avoid the sophomore slump that they've been slumping ever since. Ther are still a few good songs, but you've got to sift theough a lot of bland chart friendly alternative rock to get there.
I love Beach House, but this is kinda true. I'm just as likely to put all their stuff on shuffle as I am to listen to any one album.
Yeah, Moon and TLA are very close at the top there. I feel like Moon is a slightly better overall listening experience, but the individual songs on TLA are amazing enough to push it to the top for me.
"Sugar Boats" is definitely the best song on the album, and I like "Best Room" a lot too. It's not a bad album, but the highs aren't quite as high and the lows feel a little bit lower than their other albums.
It's funny, I thought that We Were Dead was much better than Good News. I still like Good News, but a lot of the songs on it feel like any indie band around that time could have made them. We Were Dead is a bit overproduced and it doesn't work everywhere, but it feels like something only Modest Mouse would make.…
Oops, fixed.
Excluding the Aardman movies, which are always amazing, I'd say the best three Dreamworks movies are Megamind, How to Train Your Dragon, and Kung fu Panda. You would be hard pressed to find an animated movie more quotable than Megamind.
I don't understand the love for the sequel. The overall plot and the villain are just so bland, that it can't make up for the maturer themes.
As a huge fan of Car Seat Headrest, it always pisses me off to see half of the comment section devoted to "never heard of these guys, but here's a joke about their band name".

This is no Neil C, but it's decent. That can't be said for most non Neil C mashups.
I'm sorry, I totally missed that it said spirit potluck on the invite. If we still need to order pizza, I can pick up the tab.
If you ask "is there a much less funny version of this?", the answer is always " on Twitter".
It's especially bad, because woke, unlike most pieces of black slang taken over by white people, is used solely by people that claim to know better.
You've almost changed my mind with who to root for.
It's a good album, but I have a hard time getting over how much I hate the persona and how overrated I thought Fleet Foxes were.
I like Win Butler, so I have a high tolerance for "pretentious indie musicians", but this only makes me find him even more insufferable. It's a shame the music he makes is actually decent.
