They're mindfreaks.

The fight scene in the apartment is absurdly brilliant.
I like Gulpo, the fish that eats concepts.
Apology accepted. I wasn't in a great mood at the time, so I think I was a bit overly rude in my response. I hope you can accept my apology and we can both move away from this interaction as better people :D
Yay AV Club pessimism and pedanticism. Was this worth clarifying three weeks later?
And this was a story you had to ask him to tell? If that happened to me I'd have it on like a little name tag that I'd wear at all times.
My sister and I had a fun little riff after the book came out on what would happen if Harry and Ginny had even more kids and kept with the naming scheme. My favorites were Dobby Potter, Peter Potter, Basilisk Potter, and That Groundskeeper or Whatever That Weird Baby Voldemort Killed Back at the Beginning of the…
Do you mean Snow Crash? Snow Crash's overall story has better pacing, but there are a still a few times where the pace grinds to a halt so he can lecture about something.
A lot of the time when these cases come up, people tend to root for the original artist, because it's Marvin Gaye vs Robin Thicke or Tom Petty vs Sam Smith. Although I think a lot of people see it as fun to take Robin Thicke down a peg, him losing that lawsuit was absolute bs, and it stifles artistic creativity.
I havent heard about that, and that's a shame. Since I Left You is so good.
There are songs in Twin Fantasy that definitely give that vibe. I think the Sufjan Stevens comparison is pretty apt.
The /s was intended to show I was sarcastic when I said my top five was "objective". Sorry for the misunderstanding. I was just attempting to make a joke.
Unlike everyone else's top 5, mine is based on whatusic is objectively the best /s. So I'm hoping this album is good enough to be one of the five objectively best albums of the year.
Ehhh, we already got Blackstar and A Moon Shaped Pool. This year's top 5 already is looking to be in good shape.
Yesssssssssssssssss. I'm really hoping that this album can be in my top 5 at the end of the year. Drunk Drivers/Killer Whales is such a great song.
I mean, this is the first album of all new material that's being released with a legit band, but it's still kinda annoying to see that mixed up.
I hate when people spend the entire time just complaining about the band name. It's like there's this compulsion to be snarky, but they don't know anything about the band so they just complain about the name.
Honestly, 21 Jump Street is pretty accurate in that aspect. Just like the movie shows, just because there's been a lot of change and progress in that direction doesn't mean there isn't plenty of opportunities for high schoolers to be as dumb as always.
Just curious, any relation to the Team Fortress Two CommanderX?
That's why you're supposed to say that it's part of your viral marketing campaign when they come to question you. It works every time.
