Man, The Comedian felt like it was 2 hours long.
I’m not sad, you’re sad.
Hey, they can’t all be gems.
I don’t know, they look fine to me but I’m a Lions fan and I’ve always disliked our uniforms (and lack of updates).
I’m going to miss Gretchen’s wide-eyed-manic-shrill-yell-talking in every scene.
“Shrill Wide-Eyed Yell-Talking in Every Scene” Award
Who the hell contributed money to this? Do people really have money to burn like this? Jesus.
I read the review before watching and was expecting the worst since I often find this show tedious. But it wasn’t as bad as I expected. What saves this show from it’s syrupy over-earnestness if the fact that everyone is a really good actor and they sell it (mostly).
I groan even harder when I see her on weekend update. I know it’s gonna be 10 minutes of yelling. THINGS ARE FUNNY IF THEY ARE YELLED
Man, that WNBA sketch was funny as hell.
I worked at a large charity thrift store as a teen and no clothes got thrown away. What couldn’t be sold was put in a baling machine and compressed into a cube and sent to countries in Africa.
Bodega Bathroom was the best sketch I’ve seen SNL do in a long, long time. Inspired, wacky and FUNNY!
I loved her on Casual too (man, what a great show). I binged all the episodes of PEN15 in one sitting and it’s really really good. Funny (just the fact that they are 31 year old women playing 7th graders for starters), and heartbreaking at times. Amazing work.
Not cool that they brought out one persons’s food first. So he can sit there and look at it while waiting for hers to arrive? Or be rude and start eating without her? Lose/lose situation.
I regret to inform you that Autotune Cat said some racist stuff in college.
My favorite dialogue:
Yes! Dexter, Weeds and now Shameless. When it comes to not cancelling shit, Showtime is the FX of premium cable. Rescue Me, Nip/Tuck, Sons of Anarchy, all went seasons too long...
This is the only show I watch where when it comes back from a break, I’m like, “Fuck, more episodes to watch.” I’ve never missed an episode and I keep praying that it will be cancelled. Does that make sense?
Remember there was an AV Club article recently about things you’ve avoided simply because of the title?
