Remember the dreadful The Lazarus Effect a couple of years ago? This sounds like that.

There’s no way he dies in a fire. That would be too straight forward. Also, didn’t she have a bag of his possessions? Would there be any personal effects after burning up in a fire?
This review was spot on. I know my tastes in comedy have changed since the show ended, that’s for sure. I definitely prefer single camera/no laugh track shows; I found the laugh track/studio audience jarring. Also, the ‘set up-punchline’ format that all 3-camera sitcoms use felt really stale. Is Michelle Yeoh a good actor? I really enjoyed the first episode but thought her acting was pretty bad.
I thought he was deaf at first but no
Joke’s on him, I’m gonna watch even MORE football!
I can hear my high school tennis coach yelling at me, “You’re in no mans land! What are you doing?”

I don’t get the Marmaduke thing. It was just voice acting. Marmaduke was CGI. Owen Wilson and Emma Stone ended up being in it. Seems like easy money to me.
same! Trip down memory lane!
I’ll watch the opening sequence once but I don’t want to watch it every time for all 13 episodes. Who does that?
Totally agree. I used to love coming over to the AV Club to discuss shows. Now it’s just a mess. “If it ain’t broke...”
I know I might be in the minority here but Sarah Paulson is not good on AHS. Overacting is not good acting. On Roanoke, she did that yell-crying/hyperventilating moan weeping in almost every scene. I was dismayed to see that’s her character again on Cult. It’s a case of diminishing returns. The value of acting “over…
This was one of this worst books.
