Trump on set: “What is the motivation for my character? I don’t understand. Is the kid paying me maybe?”

He’s right though, it’s not his character. He’d never help a child.

Why, for 54 years I’ve put up with them now!
I must stop these Grinch adaptations from coming! But how?

“A Teacher” isn’t so bad in that regard and it is supposed to be senior year going into college with the time frame. I see what you mean though.

Hm, I think you’re right that we’ve never directly referenced that. But the show is pretty direct about it, what with the Myth Of Narcissus painting.

i’m with you.  it was only when it was pointed out to me as an adult that the oompah loompah situation is british colonialism at its finest that i saw it.  as a kid, i missed it as i’m sure 99.9% of kids do.  ben schwartz “plays” dahl in that episode of “the dead authors podcast” & when dahl’s antisemitism comes up &

“I’m not from Appalachia, but confidently state the reason people think this isn’t a good depiction of the place I’m not from is because they don’t like its politics.”

Imagine being Ben Shapiro and thinking you’re any kind of authority on whether a movie is good or not.

Bold of you to assume a Netflix show will get a third season.

Good for them - I wonder if it changes anything about how their character will be portrayed going forward?  Probably not, because Seven was already pretty queer?

I hope it does last. It’s actually really funny, and the characters are interesting —two things the original never managed.
