Honestly, it might work. I have no interest in Marvel or Star Wars, but millions of people do. I’m also finding it harder and harder to justify keeping a Netflix subscription when I really only watch Bojack and a movie here and there. Going all in on original content has been a mixed blessing for Netflix. 

If the service sucks right out of the gate (technical difficulties, irritating UI, etc.), the headlines will write themselves. “We give Disney’s streaming service a D+”

The funny thing about both of these interviews is that I kinda get what these guys are saying, even while I wildly disagree. But you’d think, after writing an entire book on these subjects, they’d be better prepared to answer non-softball questions on the subjects without sounding like total dipshits.
