Also s/o to Hugh Howey’s Molly Fyde series (Bern Saga) that explored the concept a while back. They visit and explore the tidally locked home world of a species at war with humans, Drenard, where the entire civilization exists on the terminator. They also detail some interesting rights of passage for the species that

Yeah, I caught that line too, but it doesn’t really define whether the effort is in establishing the connection or maintaining it.

I loved both episodes, and think Rebels quality, while starting behind TCW, has far surpassed it. But hey, opinions, right?

There was also no real “huge deus ex machina” here...it progressed the current story, expanded and built the universe, and there was no real resolution that you would expect with a deus ex.

This was a thought I had as well. What if this realm is where the Force Ghosts live and then project themselves out from at critical moments (where the portals seem to be). At this point in the universe we don’t actually have one yet, Qui Gon only seemed to get part of the process (only a voice), so that would explain

I mean, they also didn’t know you could become a force ghost in eps. 2 and 3. What the heck were those Jedi even doing back then?... Understanding of the force is ever-evolving apparently.

I have the feeling that has to do with Snoke opening a door that he never closed before dying, rather than it being that he was maintaining the connection the whole time.

There was a shot in the end montage where you just barely glimpse her walking into the triangle door, with the green owl flying behind her (which hadn’t been on Malachor up to that point, so interesting tie to this episode with it flying through the portal as well).

How so? It’s exactly what you’re saying. It’s a perfect example of the fact that in some cases, it is possible that someone who hasn’t done the job might be able to tell you how to do it.

More asymmetric than I would have expected, although that’s probably driven more by the sources of light being pulled in than the structure of the black hole.

Bill Belichick has never played professional football. Does that have any impact on his ability to coach?

    Great pull on that one.

On Rebels Recon, the host was wearing the shirt with Ahsoka in the doorway for the whole episode. Seems important.

WHO IS CUTTING ONIONS IN HERE!?

That was a clip from Jedi Night, on the platform. Price/Thrawn have Kanan’s lightsaber anyways.

Or they decided they wanted to see how much thrust they actually had left available after the launch?

Yes, I’ve increased from about 1x per month to 3-4x per month.

Ok, so you’re panning my claim that supplemental spend is actually higher for MP members because you believe the survey to be biased, but then proceeding under your assumption that supplemental spend is actually lower with no data to back it up whatsoever.

You don’t think large buyers can negotiate discounted prices for buying in bulk? Sticking with the popcorn example, if I called up and offered $7 per box for something that’s usually $10 on an order of 100,000 boxes, you don’t think a supplier should or would want to entertain that?

MP can block specific theaters because a component of the process is a location services enabled app. You have to check in at the theater for the card payment to go through. Very easy for them to implement. As others have mentioned, there’s no real method for AMC to take a similar course against MP.
