My understanding has been that they still need a killshot with dragon glass, at least with wights (different story with the White Walkers and Valyrian steel). Dragon glass weapons just seem to have the same effect that a normal weapon would have on a normal person?

    They learned something from Rickon?

I love how there are people out here today bitching about how the show shouldn’t have to spell everything out for the viewers, but then we have people that miss completely obvious things like this...

Because the Dothraki are viewed more as a nuisance than an infestation by the Free Cities, and there were so many small and disjointed hordes. They didn’t unite and become a major force until Dany. It would also be an ongoing issue, so they would have to not just hire the Golden Company but also keep them on retainer.

More like because it’s a heck of a lot cheaper to pay the Dothraki than it is to hire the Golden Company.

Because nobody paid them to fight the Dothraki in Essos? They’re mercs, it’s not that hard to explain.

Um, you didn’t spell it out until after I’d already posted, so maybe don’t be such a dick about it.

They’re the same. Benjen showed Bran his face.

Wasn’t Daario Second Sons, not Golden Company?

That’s what it was! Must have been the same wig.

That science seems sound to me.

You’ve probably already been “well, actually...”ed but here it is anyways. Benjen isn’t a wight. The WW were in the process of turning him when the Children put a stop to it using dragon glass to the heart. They explained it when he was helping Bran a while back.

I never said you can’t transmit data, it just can’t be transmitted faster than light.

One - Yeah, that’s not how this or entaglement works in general. They need to entangle, split and transmit the particles before they can be read, and that transmission is still bound by the speed of light.

No, my standards are a realistic practical application. I never said wifi wasn’t impressive, but this isn’t a major leap beyond that.

Omg...what if in the books Jeyne Poole is the one that gets Rickoned by Ramsay and Jon is just all like

I’m not. Wifi works through that amount of seawater, but not much farther. We’re still going to lose the communication stream after a pretty short distance. That’s why sound is really the only reliable communication stream underwater.

I agree with the “business” point of your post but disagree that they cut episodes to decrease the budget.

“We’ve been on this rock for three days...” would have been perfect! That’s really all I needed to quell my stupid brain...

I literally counted the red shirts off out loud as they died, and swore we ran out and just then another pops up.
