Sure it changes things. Portable DHDs don’t exsist in the Milky Way. They only work with Gate2.0 in the Pegasus galaxy. So if someone came through, without Earth’s DHD available, they would not be able to dial back out.

Came here to say exactly this. Huge plot hole. I feel like the people coming up with this have never seen the movie or series.

Only problem here is that the gates are generally one way from the direction of dialing, so if the Goa’uld dialed Earth they’d be able to come through but Catherine couldn’t travel out.

Ah, ok, I misread your statement as sleighting Babybear.

For starters, it’s the wrong eye. Second, the giant has all sorts of decomposition, it’s really not surprising that one of his eyes might be affected. It’s just another giant and they thought the single glowing eye would look cool. Or maybe they just wanted to screw with you. Finally, and most important, we have seen

We have no reason to believe that’s a future vision. You’re adding layers of complication where there shouldn’t be.

His gift is clearly going to be the Sand Snakes.

And what on earth is wrong with baby-bear Mormont’s timing?

This was exactly how I read it as well. I feel like it’s shaping up to be more of a dual/co-rule. Jon and Sansa do a great job of balancing each other, she also lends the name legitimacy.

That first one tugged at my heart strings damn hard...

Negative. Say what you want about the gameplay comparison, I see some merit there, but nothing tops VIIs OST from a purely compositional perspective. It’s a masterpiece to hear played by a full symphony.

    This is brilliant.

Yes! This! That was always my interpretation of the character and interactions as well. Rufio clearly felt betrayed by him and that drove a lot of his actions.

Yeah, that was my initial reaction and I tend to agree with you, which is why I’m surprised by how confident the authors are that it’s Castle Black’s.

It wasn’t pointed out here that this weirwood appears to be the one north of the wall, rather than Winterfell. If that’s true it kind of makes me doubt the Luwin theory. If it really is north of the wall, it makes Reed less likely as well. I think based on that Bloodraven makes more sense.

Yeah, you know what, the hair definitely looks more like Bloodraven. Luwin was more bald. I’m with you.

    > And we kind of cheered as she did it. Seasons 5 and 6 made us feel sorry for Cersei and hate the High Sparrow a lot more than her.

    Little Finger?

Thoros had the very first flaming sword. How’d he light it? The power of the red god maybe? That’s Beric wielding it, the same guy brought back to life by the red priest Thoros of Myr back in season 3. Who else has a flaming sword? Stannis’s was only lit once. Can’t think of anyone else with one at this point in the
