Initially I said that I didn’t think it was Home One, but after digging a little bit I’ve changed my mind. Mon Cal ships are supposed to be unique, and this ship looks *very* similar to Home One as Star Wars Databanks shows it:

Actually, I take it back! I think that is Home One! (Top photo courtesy of Star Wars Databanks)

No, at 7:30 when she gets knocked out Ezra definitely says “Gold 2 is down.”

I don’t think it’s Home One. Home One has a more cylindrical shape.

Rogue One takes place what, a few days, maybe a week or two, prior to the Battle of Yavin? So if they do pull the liberation timeframe from EU, Mon Cal would have been liberated almost a year prior to Scarif. Plenty of time for some to make their way to the Rebellion.

I thought the pilot Ezra took over for was Gold 2? Nitpicking, I know, but wondering if that might impact your thoughts on it.

Wookiepedia says Mon Cal was liberated 1 year before the battle of Yavin. I don’t believe it’s been clearly established in the new canon but I could be wrong.

    Quasar fire-class carrier:

This is the penalty for being wrong on Kinja. Suffer the wrath of a multitude replies correcting you!

Someone probably already posted this, but it’s so egregious I can’t continue on. Leia didn’t give them Yavin, they put a tracker on them.

It also says “Rey” in the background. Maybe Daisy Ridley is playing Cable.

I also noticed “Rey” perfectly framed to the left of the phone booth. Not sure what that’s about.

He also references the phone call he made at the end of this one, which he didn’t do in the theatrical cut.

    Yoda isn’t a Whill.

I’ve always thought the Mortis arc of Clone Wars took place in the Unkown Regions as well.

iZombie’s Rahul Kohli has been cast in the series as Jack Spheer

Oh I didn’t even think of that...now I’m sad that it won’t be Bridget Regan...

Agreed here as well, great to see an author engaging in the discussion. Doesn’t seem to happen much around here. Thank you!

You’re missing out. The Mandalore/Darksaber plot is excellent. So is Thrawn. And Callus come to think of it. Lots of good stuff going on.

The Ysalamiri were much covered here after they were first noticed in this season’s trailer. Without digging through the search, I think there was actually a whole article on it.
