To me her face looked 100% identical to the beginning of A New Hope, where she is much more made-up and doll-like...is it possible your expectations are skewed more towards her later appearances?

I saw it in 3D and 3D IMAX second time around. It took me out of the movie first time around, but I barely noticed it the second viewing. I really think it was just processing the fact that he shouldn’t be there.

I did not know that, but it makes a tremendous amount of sense. Thanks for providing that background.

And then 5000 more people would have died, including Lawrence’s character.

I’m beginning to notice that trend.

I’m curious to know how you were expecting or would expect the movie to deal with what he did? Nobody seems to address that when they make this criticism.

    Have you seen it?

    Some minor spoilers below...

    Spoilers...

I believe Obi-Wan was supposed to be mid-40s in RotS. That would make him early 60s by ANH, as expected.

Can you provide any proof or evidence to back that up? Because everything written anywhere right now would seem to refute you.

Yes, in the same way that Guy Henry’s face was used. So you’re telling me Tarkin wasn’t CGI either?

They used the exact same procedure for both characters, so either you’re also ruling out Tarkin as CGI or they both are.

Everyone BUT you, including the studio, considers and describes her as a CGI recreation. So yes, you are incorrect, despite what you may believe.

    Still wrong:

Sorry, no, still wrong, it was CGI:

It was not. They used archival footage to create a CGI overlay.

Leia standalone in 5-6 years with Millie?

    Yes she was.

The number of times you posted this incorrect info is embarrassing.
