Maeve wouldn’t have blown up. They showed her getting reprinted after Sylvester replaced the explosive vertebrae.

    Great review, thank you.

What if it’s a dome-esque construction (a la Truman Show) and the worlds are stacked on top of each other?

No, Bothans got the plans for the second Death Star. No Bothans die in this movie. It’s a nit that’s been picked by many a nerd since Rogue One was first announced.

I haven’t read Tarkin, it’s on my ever growing list. Does that mean Tarkin knew Vader was Anakin?

    Bothan correction incoming...

This appears to show plenty of sediment in the water ahead of the turbines and looking more like the flow is shaped by the turbines than generated...

There was a full night between when he was hanged and when they met him in Pariah.

I don’t think Lawrence popping back up requires a duplicate, since there appeared to have been a night between. That’d be enough time to fix him up and ship him back.

That was exactly my thought. Edgy as in different to them, i.e. brighter and optimistic.

It’s possible they model the VR meeting area after the real life labs. The hosts may not even be able to tell the difference. They’re always told it’s a dream anyways. If the tech is queuing up a girl in VR to do what I think he’s going to do, there’s no reason Ford couldn’t interact “physically” with a host in VR.

Yes, Maeve is kind of the conundrum...we’ve seen Hector come to town twice in the time that William has been there, and if I recall correctly that was supposed to be a multi-week arc...

I’ve been right there with you, but this episode’s conversation on the business side of things between William and Logan really kind of threw me for a loop... Why would they be talking about Arnold’s suicide as if it were something recent if it happened 30+ years ago...it’s weak evidence but very strange.

I read a very good theory elsewhere today that those conversations are actually occurring in a VR rig, based on the mention by one of the “butchers” of having a girl queued up in one. Something like that would allow them to have the conversation while only pulling the “consciousness” out without the body.

Nice catch, hadn’t considered that angle. That’s a very strong piece of evidence in favor of a single timeline.

    My all-time favorite Vine:

Anyone saying that in reality a park like Westworld would have to be based on an existing franchise *is* ignoring the entirety of Hopkins character and everything we’ve been presented with in the show. It’s all based on what he wants, he has the decision making power and appears to care more about the overall

“Limitless” has been canceled after its first season due to ugly ratings and its lack of ability to reach out to the audience.

!!! Did that get cancelled!? I had no idea! I has the sad, for the rest of the day...
