Pretty sure that's been a question since TPM hover tanks...

I think you’re confusing your Death Star plans stealings there...
I believe in ANH they mention that it’s the first time it’s “fully operational”. I think this supports the interpretation of the shot with U-Wing + ?Jedha? devastation, since the laser may not have been strong enough to completely destroy a planet yet.
+1 for Bastion. One of my all time favorite game soundtracks, and I think one of my top played Spotify albums too!
I have to be honest, the music didn’t do much for me in this trailer. It felt like generic action movie theme with a slight hint of Star Wars tossed in, less of a consistent theme and build throughout and more on just loud Star Wars-sequel noises.
He did, single breath right at the end, didn't he?
One position, looking into her eyes. It puts you into a kind of trance. When you’re done, it feels kind of like you’ve just gotten back from somewhere. The world had melted away and all there was was a feeling. The “hey” is almost like a “Hey, we’re back.”
They did? My understanding was that Musk got into the business with the intention right from the get-go of making them reusable. So what track record exactly did they have when their intentions were first announced?
Didn’t people say the same about landing a “reusable” rocket stage upright on a barge just a few years ago? (Reusable in quotes only because we haven’t actually seen that part yet, I have no doubt they’ll get it eventually)
Yeah, that’s definitely nitpicking, especially since the majority of the ocean doesn’t go below 4 C for exactly the reason you cited. So from an oceanic perspective, which the only specific concern of the article, warmer does always equal expansion.
Isn’t that d the distance between objects centers of mass, not body diameter?
This is absolutely gorgeous looking. I have a hard time believing it’ll be any match for the upcoming Disney live action though. The cast alone...
I don't think it's even that it's attaching something, more likely just a precautionary layer of protection over the actual sealing and attaching mechanisms.
I don’t believe the absolute pressure matters, only the pressure difference between sides. Since the tube is completely open (used for sampling), there should be little to no pressure difference.
Yes, this was exactly my thought as well.
I think the clown is a bad example. It would be more like trying to control the weather at your outdoor birthday party. You could hope for good weather or you could put up tents, etc, but rain still happens and it's still going to be tough to have a good time if it does.
I feel like Flash and Flash (TV) would be the proper nomenclature, even though TV came first...not sure if I have any basis to back that opinion up with though.
Wut? She's played by a white woman. How would that ruin everything? It's all makeup...
It looks an awful lot like a Snowspeeder, maybe the gunner’s actually at the back instead of the side?
You mean like the boosters landing simultaneously? Did you watch the video?
