Spot on with the theory on why we’ll still get the Hold The Door moment in the book. I posted this elsewhere:

    *Has always affected the past.

But I think there’s a good chance that when the credits rolled on last night’s episode, “The Door,” ol’ George stroked his beard and said, “Damn, I wish I’d thought of that.”

Hence the wound(past)/scar(present) on his head that you can see, it just wasn’t the cause of his disfunction. It seems like the 2 events may have occurred close enough that people, not knowing about the warging, assumed his “seizure” was a delayed effect of getting kicked in the head.

You mean the dragon glass spear she threw? Killing them has nothing to do with being a Stark, Sam killed one. The only question is why the Child of the Forest that stabbed him first didn't kill him. Did it not penetrate the armor, or can the Children not kill the Walkers?

Was the wall built to keep the others out of the south or men out of the north. Given what we’ve seen, who seems the more likely builder of something magical, men or the Children? Maybe both together?

I don’t suppose you saw the Tower of Joy fight scene on Game of Thrones last week? Would have been a very different ending if Ned had called it quits going after Arthur Dayne...

Way to be late to the party. I've posted about 4 different replies correcting myself after rewatching.

Does this mean it will stream along with all of the CW shows!?

    Perfect 10 for gif usage.

He’s always been my favorite part of A Knight’s Tale, although Ledger, Bettany and Mark Addy are all pretty awesome in it.

    Death at a Funeral?

Yup, saw that and corrected in another reply already.

I’m aware it was supposed to be Dawn. I caught the pommel on first viewing. I’m not looking for prettier, there’s a specific description I was looking for (white, milkglass). I highly doubt it would have been distracting to average viewers, they’d probably have just thought “cool sword”. It was probably more

Good catch, hadn’t noticed that yet. Maybe he hasn’t recovered it following his father’s/brother’s death yet?

That’s not a show thing, that’s a GRRM thing. He talks about that quite a bit, how events often unfolded very different from the tales about them or the written history, and it’s on display quite a bit in the series.

Yeah, I corrected myself in a reply, it's probably still in the greys...

Yeah, I wondered if I might be misinterpreting the accent a bit maybe. I can buy that.
